About Us

The PuckVerse was created to allow hockey fanatics (like the creator himself) to host and manage different kinds of hockey pools.

Outside of NHL regular season pools, there really isn't another live-drafting tool out there to host online drafts for different kinds of hockey pools.

With The PuckVerse, you can create a pool, invite your friends, and host a live draft. You can also join pools that your friends have created by simply typing in the pool credentials!

Features

Here are some of the features that The PuckVerse offers:

  • Live drafting for 4 different kinds of hockey pools:
    • NHL Playoffs
    • World Cup of Hockey
    • IIHF World Juniors
    • Ice Hockey at the Olympic games
  • Creation of an online, or offline draft of the above-listed types.
  • Joining pools that your friends have created
  • Draft plans! A feature where if you know your draft order ahead of time, you can plan out your draft! If you're away, our autodraft bot will take into account your draft plans!
  • Personal Rankings (Watchlist). Every pool you participate in, you can build your own rankings ahead of time! If you're away, our autodraft bot will take into account your rankings!
  • Smart Autodraft. If you can't make your draft, and you've ranked your players, and you have filled out draft plans, our smart autodraft bot will take everything into account. For example:
    • If you have the 8th pick, and you have a forward listed as your draft plan for your 1st pick, but in your rankings your remaining top-ranked player is defense, it will take a forward.
    • There's also barriers in place so you don't end up drafting 6 goalies, even if you don't do any rankings or draft plans!

About the Creator

My name is Brandon, and I am the sole creator of The PuckVerse! I was born and raised in Canada.

Hockey has been my life since I was 5 years old, which is when I first put on a pair of skates.

Being a software developer, I wanted to build a tool for hockey fans like myself to host live drafts that aren't just NHL.

This site has been a long time coming, I just needed to push myself to really go for it!

Conclusion

With all that being said, please keep in mind that when waiting for stats to be updated, I do have an 8-4 day job, and I will update stats as quickly as possible!

Thank you for visiting and using The PuckVerse, and I hope it's a great experience for you!
